[ November 18, 2010; 11:30 am to 4:00 pm. ] I’ll have an exhibition & sales table set up at the annual Thanksgiving luncheon for the American Women’s Club of Bern. Both my assemblage art and my jewelry will be on display. The luncheon is held at the AWC Clubhouse in Worb. After three semesters I can make beads that I think are beautiful, though I still need years more study and practice before I’ll feel comfortable calling myself a serious student of the art. Lampwork is a wonderful [...] [...] Yes, it’s true that I am months behind on my Bead Journal Project for 2010. This doesn’t mean I’ve quit thinking about it, because I haven’t. It’s just that I’ve spent more time sketching and pondering than beading, and I’m not sure I’ll be able to catch up by the end of the year. Because [...] [...] Fluur has featured one of my charming “Pirate First Mate” earrings in her “Hey Skelly!” Etsy Treasury. I’ve been wearing my Little Monster earrings all month… [...] CharmaineLouiseNY featured my gothic fantasy piece, “The Crouching Gargoyle,” in her Etsy Treasury, “The Look of Luxury VI.” I was happy to hear it, since it’s one of my favorite pieces. [...] After spending months searching, we finally found a new place to live and it has a big, sunny studio for me! I’ll be packing up all my artwork and materials along with the rest of the household goods, and I look forward to our move in November.
