Bio

I was born in 1960 in the Bronx, NYC.  Adventurous by nature, I’ve lived in Los Angeles, Santa Cruz, Aspen, New Haven, Washington D.C., Tucson, Berlin and Bern, and I’ve traveled more places than I can remember.  For the first half of my life I worked as a university professor in the United States and wrote popular and academic books and articles.  A mid-life career change finds me happily working as an artist and designing jewelry in Germany and Switzerland.
